Smoke detectors ! Did you know they need to be hard wired or old battery operated have to be retrofitted with wiring ? They must also be 10 year old or less; or they need to be replaced by the manufacturing recommendations - which can vary between 5-7 years old.

Did you know LOWE'S has a free assessment where they come out to the home, that will let you know what is needed and then for $99 per year they will come out twice per year and change the batteries for you or replace smoke detectors that are past their safety life?! For a senior community this is a great service ! @

Everyone always asks ? What do you do with everything that is left over at the end of an estate sale ?

I have a guy - his name is Jim. We met 5 years ago when he picked up a few things - he was incredible and we got to talking. He lives in the Ocala forest which has a very large population of people living in poverty. We could be one person 😂 we both hate to see things go to waste. We are both tireless !!

His crew is growing - his equipment is growing because my business has grown. He has a trailer now and a son with a trailer and he also has a mobile home sight where he holds sales monthly. If people can pay they pay but if someone without funds needs something he gives it to them - also part of my belief system. When I had nothing and went through some hard times as a single mom - you got it ....people that loved me helped me out.

He only works for me - I don't give his number out. He comes down every Tuesday. We have become like family - his crew comes for the holidays .... Safe to say I love this man for his commitment to the mission ☺️

Ok people - it's hot and I mean hot. My help is gone and I'm trying to keep myself perked up 😂

A few notes
1. All of those cabinets - you don't need to fill them
2. Throw new papers, glass jars, etc away regularly - that stuff really builds up
3. Purging regularly - birthdays and holidays helps to keep things manageable
4. #1 tip - store all like things together - this helps prevent overbuying
5. Since I mentioned overbuying - we live with the ability to have anything delivered today or within a short period of time ....for the most part I work with folks who are retired. Don't use your home as a storage unit - let it be your sanctuary ❤️

When you don't do these things and you go to sell your home ..... Well it's a big job! We are always happy to help!
