This quilt was so fun to make, but literally impossible to get a good picture of 😂🤷‍♀️. I made it in two color ways, the blue and gold sold to my best quilt girl but the pink, black and gold is still available, $650. This is aprox. queen size but looked great on my king bed as well… I’d be glad to do this as a custom order of your favorite colors (hit me up on messenger )💕. The pattern called to me from Pinterest for a year and I’m really pleased with how they turned out! I used flannel as the batting and backing so it translates to soft and cozy while being fun and modern looking ☺️

This quilt has been on my list to make for 12 years now , and I have to say I’m so glad I got around to it! These are all Japanese blocks, I read that traditionally it would be made with fabrics that have slightly different warp and weft weavings- so that’s what I used in the blues. Interestingly now that it’s all completed it reminds me more of Italian tiles 🙃.. but regardless I’m pleased with it’s finished look and the sunny day for its photo shoot. Measuring approx 76x76, $1100.

It’s amazing when you get an heirloom gift from an ancestor, I have my grandma’s wedding ring that I wear and cherish every day. And from my bubbie I have a crystal ice bucket that we like to use when feeling fancy 🥂. A lot of relatives leave unfinished quilt tops that get passed down, these are so special but often they just get tucked into a drawer. As They aren’t useable until they are finished , but I can help with that!
This top came to my SIL from her great aunt, she hand pieced these tiny hexagons out of her old dresses 👗. Although I finished it on a fancy machine while listening to podcasts I like to think I fulfilled her vision, I’m 💯 positive that she will be thrilled this quilt is going right on her families couch, where it belongs 💕

This quilt really takes me back to my Pennsylvania roots and growing up seeing the gorgeous Amish quilts. It’s another pattern and it’s based on the traditional Amish tulip pattern. Approx 58x61inches, this is a perfect throw or accent for your bed, $875. This is higher than typical for this size but those individual flowers took ducking forever 🤣.
When I was making it , I was set on finding the absolute perfect fabric for the back and felt so pleased when I nailed it 🎯 !

Thanks so much for all the kind words about missing seeing my quilts 💕… this quilt had been on my list to make for a couple years, it’s a and I loved the complex simplicity of it. Big blocks that are mirror images of each other are trickier than I’d thought so I decided to make a few “practice blocks”. Then before I knew it I’d accidentally made two quilts 😅. The blue one got absorbed into my blankets , but the yellow one is for sale, measuring 86x71, it would look nice on a variety of bed sizes, $650. This quilt was so ☀️ that I decided to make it lighter weight and more suitable for warmer weather by not adding the middle layer of batting. This is a perfect Three Rivers quilt 😘.
I’d also be happy to do this as a custom quilt in the two colors of your choice.

From the pattern “broadcast quilt” , I made this wall hanging for my bedroom. I was so excited about it I didn’t even trim all the treads before putting it up 😉. It measures approx 51 x 51 and Is available as a custom order $600. It would be possible to add a border as well if you are wanting a bed sized blanket. (Which was my original plan, until I got impatient 😂)

Hey there! I’ve taken almost a year off of social media and really enjoyed the break 🙃… but I miss sharing my quilts ! It feels sad to just fold up something I worked for months on and not show anyone 😏.. I’m still selling quilts, taking orders for custom quilts and updating an old quilt that you might have. Here’s my latest quilt measuring 52x74 it’s possibly the softest one I’ve ever made. Backing and batting are both flannel which provide excellent drape and coziness. It’s bright colors are inspired by …. Travel? Nah, my collection of Le Cruset in the kitchen 😅. It’s a #100 block quilt and with full disclosure I repeated 2 so , 98 different blocks . This was a lot of work and I won’t repeat it, making it a “ limited edition one of a kind art piece “. $1,100.

My last post resonated with another friend, and I got the honor of finishing her great grandmothers quilt , which she’d hand pieced in the late... 1800’s!!!
This quilt top has held up incredibly well, but the maker hadn’t gotten the chance to put backing and binding on and actually “Quilt” it.
I’m sure it was originally done with a needle and thread by the fire place, and although I finished it on a fancy computerized sewing machine under bright electric lights- I like to think that it marries the best of both centuries.

Do you have an heirloom being stored in your attic because it isn’t finished? Message me with pictures! I’m still keeping “life simpler” and not spending much time on social media but in the meantime I’m getting lots of sewing done 😘🧵
