Check out this video from RV Tips & Travels! The host built a custom, full-size 40-gallon black tank setup complete with vents, tank sensors, and a Valterra/Sani-Flush style rinser port plus a clear plexiglass top so you can actually see what’s going on inside. 🚽📦

While this isn't an exhaustive test covering every single black tank method out there, it’s a fantastic baseline demonstration of what happens when you rely solely on a built-in flush rinser with water vs. using a tank treatment to emulsify the solids.

As you’ll see in the video, emulsifying and breaking down those solids makes it far easier to get a clean, thorough dump.

Definitely worth a watch for any RVers out there! Looking forward to seeing what other experiments and tests he runs with this rig. 👇
