Most people hear a sewing machine and think about creating something new.
At our company, sometimes it means giving something old a second chance.

When a sheet or tablecloth is no longer suitable for customer use, it isn’t automatically thrown out. Our team repurposes those textiles into reusable rags, smaller tablecloths, and other practical items that can continue serving a purpose instead of ending up in a landfill.

It’s one of the many thoughtful ways we help reduce waste, maximize textile use, and provide a more sustainable linen service for our customers. Sometimes, sustainability is simply the sound of a sewing machine humming in the background.

In 1934, the Virginia Coat and Apron Supply Company opened its doors in Petersburg, Virginia.
What started with the Struminger brothers, Mo, Henry, and Irving, has grown into a linen rental company serving customers across 10 states on the East Coast.

While a lot has changed over the years, our commitment to quality service and taking care of our customers remains the same. We’re proud of where we started and grateful to continue building on the legacy they created.
