Today I’m sharing my new personal Press Horn frame—The Candy Man in Green & Tortoise Horn—and the story behind this remarkable collection. From Frank Sinatra and James Dean to Audrey Hepburn and Sammy Davis Jr., every Press Horn design is inspired by a legendary personality.

These handcrafted horn frames are unlike anything else we carry, and I can’t wait to show you the details.

This month is extra special because we're celebrating not one, but two milestones—Derek's birthday and his 20th anniversary with Hicks Brunson Eyewear! 🎂🥳

For the past two decades, Derek has been an essential part of our team. While you may not see him every time you visit because he spends most of his day behind the scenes in our lab, his work is everywhere. If you've picked up a pair of glasses from us, there's a very good chance Derek had a hand in making sure they were just right.

From inspecting lenses and assembling eyewear to making adjustments and catching the smallest details, Derek brings incredible precision, consistency, and care to every pair of glasses that leaves our store. His quiet dedication has helped thousands of our patients see—and look—their very best over the last 20 years.

A little late posting this one, but it was too good not to share.
Last Friday, we wrapped up an incredible Gotti Trunk Show at Hicks Brunson Eyewear. We had a fantastic day helping clients discover the craftsmanship, innovation, and unmistakable style that make Gotti one of our favorite collections.

A special thank you to our Gotti representative, Moses, for spending the day with us and sharing his knowledge and passion for the brand. We always enjoy having him in the shop.

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who stopped by, tried on frames, and supported our small business. Events like these remind us how fortunate we are to serve such a wonderful community.
