This January is all about playing with a new medium to me (hello, gouache) for the background of my embroidered fairy tale streets. There is still a lot of embroidery work to be added to this one, this piece is one of the first, one of the ones I will look back at to see how far I've come.

My pie in the sky, big dream is to have created 12 large scale fairy tale streets by next January.
