COMMUNITY WATCH heads to Utica, NY. Downtown Utica is in the middle of a $700M+ building boom — and almost nobody's talking about it. In this video: the Wynn Hospital (opened downtown Oct 2023, $300M state investment), the $64M Nexus Center sports district by the Aud, Impact Utica's $101M housing project (completed 2025), the $82M Olbiston Apartments comeback, Bagg's Square loft living — and the Artspace Utica Lofts, a $18.6M building with 43 live/work apartments (32 reserved for artists) that opened in the Arts District in September 2025. Plus the twist: the former YWCA building at 1002 Cornelia Street is under construction as the Mary Webster Wellness Center — 20 supportive apartments, 12 for veterans (YWCA offices moved to 7 Rutger Park in 2018; the wellness center/pool is a planned later phase). Still coming: the $62M North Genesee Street bridge project (through 2028) and the $130M Nexus Neighborhood — still plans on paper, groundbreaking hoped for 2027.

Blueface was arrested on a Kick livestream Monday night in Santa Clarita — while dressed as Mr. Incredible on a family costume night with his fiancée Chrisean Rock. Deputies responded to a call about a man pointing a gun at the Yard House in Valencia. It was a swatting hoax — there was no gun — but Blueface reportedly refused to follow commands and was arrested for delaying a police investigation and booked into LA County jail. It's the third time he's been targeted by a false report in months, and he's still on probation from his 2022 Las Vegas case. In this video: what happened, the swatting problem, and why one hot-headed minute can cost a man on paper everything.

Lil Baby just announced his fifth studio album FRESH — out November 6 on Quality Control Music/UMG. He rolled it out old school: a whiteboard on Instagram with the song titles, caption "It's That Season." The headline track is "All My Partnas" (track 7) — reuniting Future and Young Thug with Rylo Rodriguez, the same trio behind "Dum, Dumb, and Dumber." Only two feature spots on all 17 tracks. Plus: the Pharrell-produced "Dead Fresh" that debuted at Louis Vuitton's Paris runway show, the finished album "Dominique" he shelved because he "can't get grown on my fans too quick," and his Dec 5 "Fresh Prince of Atlanta" birthday show at State Farm Arena.

Reports say Jay-Z has done it — after seven years of picking everybody else, he has reportedly chosen HIMSELF to headline the Super Bowl LXI halftime show (February 14, 2027, SoFi Stadium). Puck's Dave Brooks reported it this morning citing multiple sources, with Miley Cyrus and Justin Bieber reportedly also in the mix. The NFL and Roc Nation have NOT confirmed — they declined to comment, so this is a strong report, not an official announcement. In this video: the report, the full seven-year run of halftime picks he built (Shakira/JLo, The Weeknd, Dr. Dre, Rihanna, Usher, Kendrick, Bad Bunny), his own 2024 words — "I thought it would be selfish to pick myself too early... maybe one year" — and why the timing, 30 years after Reasonable Doubt, makes sense.

The loudest man in hip-hop just wrote the quietest book. Lil Jon's memoir "I Only Shout So You Can Hear Me" is out NOW — co-written with journalist Paul Cantor, from Atria Books and Charlamagne Tha God's Black Privilege Publishing. In this video: the real story of crunk — from So So Def A&R and "Get Low" to Usher's "Yeah!" and "Turn Down for What" — how the shout was a crafted persona all along, the Dave Chappelle connection behind his famous "OK" ad-lib, the burnout, and the reinvention through meditation and wellness. Strength ain't volume.

Master P has finally broken his silence on Mystikal's 20-year prison sentence. On the "We In Miami Podcast," Master P said "he's where he need to be" and "Mystikal has helped us build an empire" — then pivoted to a call for better mental health care and counseling in the Black community, saying too many people are afraid to admit they're dealing with something. Mystikal, 55, was sentenced in June to 20 years for third-degree r**e after taking a plea deal — and has now been transferred to Angola State Penitentiary. His son Million Tyler told TMZ: "I hope you get the help you need. I really hope you do." In this video: what Master P said, the full case background, and the bigger conversation about accountability and mental health.
