You asked, and we listened! Our helpers are busy reorganizing our ring trays so our sterling silver rings will have their own section. We hope this makes shopping a little easier and helps take the guesswork out of browsing. 💍

Update from the Trinket Trove 💛

We’ve had a bit of an unexpected visitor lately… we’ve affectionately dubbed him The Trinket Trove Bandit.

Over the past several days, one gentleman has repeatedly stopped by and completely emptied our Trinket Trove… filling his pockets with handfuls of trinkets, even while we’ve been standing there watching. We’ve politely asked him to stop, and we’ve also worked with local law enforcement on the situation.

The hardest part has been watching how much this has affected our kids. They absolutely love keeping the Trinket Trove stocked so other children (and adults!) can experience the joy of finding a little treasure.

Today, our son made one last effort. He wrote a simple note that said, “Please stop… with lots of love. ❤️” The gentleman stopped, read the note, and, for the first time, walked away without taking anything. Granted there wasn’t hardly anything left…

We’re really hopeful that this is the end of the story.

For now, we’re going to leave the Trinket Trove empty for just a few more days in hopes that it discourages any more visits. If all stays quiet, we’ll happily refill it soon.

Thank you to everyone who’s donated little treasures and helped make this such a fun part of Sōlshine. We can’t wait to get it back up and running for all the honest treasure hunters out there. 💛

✨ What an incredible day at the Augusta Expo July Flea Market✨

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth today! We loved meeting so many new faces, catching up with familiar ones, and helping you find pieces that spoke to you.

There were several times throughout the day when people told us they were waiting for our booth to clear out so they could come shop. Matthew and I stayed busy helping customers from start to finish, and we are so incredibly grateful for all the love and support.

One of my favorite parts of days like today is getting to share not only Sōlshine, but also the work of the talented local artists and small businesses that make our shop so special. Every purchase helps support a dream, a family, and a creative heart, and that means more to us than you know.

Whether you took home a handmade piece of jewelry, a crystal, artisan self-care products, local artwork, or simply stopped by to say hello, thank you for being part of such an amazing day.

We can’t wait to see you at the next event… or at the shop in Staunton! 💛
