You know, there’s something helpful about having a few pieces that just work—no matter the day.

Different ways to wear them, different ways to style them, but always easy to come back to.

That’s what I’ve been creating with KAUTE.

Getting dressed shouldn’t feel complicated.

The goal isn’t to have more—it’s to have pieces that work across different moments in your day without overthinking it.

That’s what I focused on with GAIA. Something simple, wearable, and easy to come back to again and again.

I’ve also started wearing the lighter Yarrow color more this week, which opens up even more options.

Still building, still learning, and more to come.

Hey, friends!

If you’re refreshing anything this season, start with the one piece you’ll actually reach for again and again.

For me, that’s been the GAIA shirt. It’s simple, versatile, and works across different parts of daily life—whether I’m working, traveling, or just stepping into a new season.

KAUTE is built around this idea: anchor pieces, worn well, over time. And this is just the beginning of what’s to come.

More designs are in the works, shaped by what I’m learning and what people are responding to.

For now, we start with GAIA—and build from there.

Lately I’ve been noticing something about the pieces I wear the most.

They’re rarely the most complicated ones.

They’re the ones that work in different moments of the day.

This week I’m styling GAIA three simple ways:

- With jeans for everyday errands
- Layered under a sweater for colder mornings
- With a jacket when I want to go out

Versatility has always been important to me when designing clothing.

The pieces that stay in our closets the longest tend to be the ones that quietly adapt to our lives.

We don’t talk about fabric enough.

But it might just be the most important aspect of what we wear.

Organic cotton, for instance, isn’t just about sustainability.�It’s about fiber length, breathability and durability.

Longer fibers = stronger thread = longer life.

Which means:�The already smooth piece of clothing softens. But doesn’t fall apart.

Take a moment, as we approach spring, to notice how your clothes ‘feel’ when you wear them. I’d be curious to hear about your experiences!

Take a moment - just for you! Pause, breathe, chill and relax. As I always say, "No one is going to do it for you." NOW is the best time, and really, the only time.

It's not always easy, as it seems the demands of life grow greater each day. Often, I'll just 'cozy up' with a cup of coffee (or tea) and drink in just how grateful I am for life as it is right now.
