Wanted to share some memory gifts I put together for a dear friend and her amazing family who recently experienced a devastating loss. This gentleman was a beloved husband, father, Papa and uncle. I felt such a connection making these, through stories shared over the years and just working with the fabric that he used to wear. I felt like I knew him without ever meeting him. I hope the family finds some comfort in these items and feels the love and prayers that went into making them. 🫶🙏

This little bag was inspired by a vintage velvet drawstring purse I picked up at an estate sale a while back. I thought it was a cute design and would be perfect to hold makeup or medicine bottles. I decided to create a pattern and make a few for some coworker friends. I just finished up another batch that a very sweet friend asked me to make. I hope whoever receives them enjoys using them as much as I did making them.

Flashback to when my loofahs were just baby gourds. I started a couple of seedlings to see if I could get them to grow, seems like overnight she went all Little Shop of Horrors on me. I told my friends at work if I ever dont show up one morning, tell the authorites to check under the bush out back. 😱 I harvested a LOT of her seeds so if anyone wants some to start their own "Audrey" this spring, lemme know. 😁
