At the risk of being repetitive, Goodness, its been a while since I've posted (see previous post, LAST YEAR in January! oops) It's been a busy year, we downsized homes last spring, I took my grandson to North Carolina to visit grandparents and great grandparents on the 'other' side of his family, traveled to Mammoth Lakes on the eastern side of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, returned home and supervised the renovation of our backyard to a very low water & maintenance area, retired from the antique business closing my booth in a shop downtown, bought a small motorhome...now it is nearly Christmas. Oh, during that time a friend and I also tried to get a website and Etsy shop going for our jewelry, but we didn't really pull it together. So I am going to try to rejuvenate this site a little.

I have been making jewelry, but have not really been trying to market my new pieces. I think I have been busy???? Well, I shall start sharing some of my work, and should anyone see anything they would like, just send me a message and I will give provide details.

Some of my FB beader friends have started selling through Facebook. I may give that a try.

Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, Happy Hanukkah, and happy winter sports season to All!

Goodness, it's been a while since I've posted. Shows kept me busy through November and December and while I had time to make some lovely pieces, I didn't have time to share. I'm promise to do better.

This is my first freeform piece of the new year and my first use of beaded fringe. I call it Lava and Ice, a mix of labradorite adding to the 'ashy' snow and ice colored seed beads, and fiery colored seed beads emulating a flow. I love the earth's natural colors and plan to 'play' with them some more. I have quite a 'stash' of semi-precious stones, ...gotta make an effort to use them as fast as I buy them, LOL

I had seen a similar design online some time ago, and have made many of these necklaces. 25 inches long, they slip over the head, and can be worn with the center focal area in the front, back or on the side. They are definitely more time intensive to make, but relaxing at the same time.

Lise Pomeroy's freeform in fall colors posted Oct 4 provided inspiration for my new freeform. I leaned more toward the vintage wine palette in mine. Freeform bead weaving gives me such a sense of peace

Two narrower freeform bracelets. I love making these. They take 'only' 4-5 hours and look so good on the wrist

Found these beads at the Heart of California bead show in Fresno and knew I had to make this lovely and delicate multi-strand necklace (flashback to the liquid silver 10-stranders I used to make in the 70s!). This new version is made of VERY tiny seed beads in silver, pewter and light bronze. The clasp is so pretty it also makes a nice focal piece if worn to the front. I really love metal tones!!!!
