So, this all began when I asked my mom to help me sew curtains for my daughter to be while I was pregnant. We went to Joann's and picked out material to match her sheets. It was so much fun making curtains with my mom that I decided my bedroom needed curtains as well! So off I went, ba

ck to Joann's, to buy fabric to make curtains for my bedroom. I then went on to make a matching pillow to put on the glider in my daughters nursery to match the curtains in there. After the curtains and pillow I said, "Wow, I wonder if could make Joanna (my daughter) a winter skirt!" and here started my passion for sewing. My mom clearly saw how much I was enjoying this and decided to buy me my own sewing machine (I was just borrowing hers for the other items) for Christmas. Shortly after receiving my machine, I knew exactly what I should start making - reusable tote bags - as several towns were no longer going to be using plastic bags! I've gotten better and more creative with each item I make; always working to make the best product.
