Bob Mattina from ZSK Machines has passed. He was an amazing man and checked on me after my father passed away. The Mattina’s are like extended family and I am heart broken for them.
Bob and my Dad, I’m sure, are having a chat looking down on all of us proud of what their children have accomplished.

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Robert (Bob) Mattina.
Bob dedicated his life to our family business, founded in 1955, and led it with integrity, vision, and an unwavering commitment to helping others since 1977. Over nearly five decades of leadership, he helped grow the company while building enduring relationships with customers, suppliers, colleagues, and industry partners across the United States and around the world. To Bob, business was never just about transactions—it was about people. Many of those professional relationships became lifelong friendships.
Today, as a proud fourth-generation family business, we recognize that the foundation Bob strengthened will continue for generations to come. Our company has always reflected the values he lived every day: honesty, hard work, innovation, exceptional service, and genuine care for others. His passion for the embroidery industry, depth of knowledge, and willingness to share his experience left a lasting impression on countless people fortunate enough to know and work with him.
For our family, Bob was far more than the leader of our business. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, mentor, and friend. His guidance, generosity, remarkable work ethic, and quiet humility shaped our family and our company in ways that will continue for generations.
We are deeply grateful for the overwhelming support, prayers, and kindness shown to our family. Your messages, calls, and words of encouragement have meant more to us than we can adequately express.
While we mourn this tremendous loss, we also celebrate an extraordinary life devoted to family, friendship, and serving others. We remain committed to carrying forward the values Bob instilled in our company and to honoring the relationships he treasured so deeply.
