I had the absolute pleasure of visiting Corinna of yesterday in Sacramento! This incredible museum of embroidery and textiles, thoughtfully collected and curated over YEARS, started with one piece made by yours truly (the emerald green gem) over 10 years ago and has lead to many more of mine and SO MANY incredible embroidery artists from all over the globe- now all under one roof for anyone to see! It is a mind boggling collection- so full of creativity and color, skill, style, technique- SO many stories that Corinna shares during your visit. It is truly something to behold and listening to Corinna talk with such passion for the art of embroidery and textiles made my little stitchers heart and hands swell with pride and joy.
I don’t want to be accused of being bossy (yet again) but do yourself a favor and book an appointment to go and see for yourself. And did I mention that it’s free?
Thank you again Corinna. I can’t wait to be back very soon to see you and to spend lots more time amongst all those stitches and imagery!
