Four pieces found new homes this weekend and it feels good every time.

I used to hold onto things longer than I should, telling myself I’d wear them “someday.” Lately I’ve been learning the opposite. The less I own, the less stress I carry. Clutter is not just physical, it takes up space in your head too.
So my new approach is simple. If it’s not being worn or used, it needs to go, even if that means pricing it lower than I originally wanted. A bag that sells for less but actually sells is worth more to me than one sitting in a bin collecting dust.

Less stuff, less stress, more room to breathe.
Pricing also comes down to condition. If an item has a lot of flaws or callouts, it’s not realistic to price it high just because of the brand name. I’d rather price it fairly for what it actually is and still walk away with a profit, than hold out for a number the item doesn’t support.

She Found Her New Home: My Vintage Bottega Veneta Sold for $280

I still remember the day I found this bag thrifting. A vintage Bottega Veneta intrecciato, sitting there like nobody knew what it was. That is the magic of thrifting. You never know what treasure is hiding in plain sight.

I listed her for $320 on Poshmark. Within days, 57 people liked the listing. The offers started rolling in. Some low, some closer, some just people testing their luck.

The best offer landed at $280. Could I have waited for more? Probably. But real talk, I am a stay at home mom juggling bills, a baby, and a side hustle all at once. Sometimes the smart move is not the perfect number. It is the number that helps your family right now.

The best part? The new owner absolutely loved it and was so happy with their purchase. They even left me a 5-star review, which made the experience even more rewarding. Knowing that something I rescued and passed along brought someone so much joy is one of the best parts of reselling.

I had not carried this bag in a while. She deserved to be loved again, not sitting in my closet collecting dust. So I said yes to the offer, packed her up, and sent her off to her new owner.

This is the real side of reselling nobody talks about enough. It is not always about holding out for top dollar. Sometimes it is about knowing when to let go, cashing in the win, and moving on to the next find.

Another one sold. Another bill covered. Another thrift story in the books.

✨ THRIFT QUEEN FINDS: Vintage Bottega Veneta ✨

Let me just say… thrifting never misses when you know what you’re looking for. 👑

I picked this up years ago and she has been living rent free in my closet ever since. A vintage Bottega Veneta Intrecciato shoulder bag from the late 1980s to early 1990s. Cognac leather, gold hardware, braided straps, a leather tassel zipper pull, AND her original Certificate of Authenticity still intact. 🤌

For a thrift price. You’re welcome.

Bottega Veneta is one of Italy’s most prestigious luxury houses and their signature Intrecciato weave is entirely handcrafted by artisans in Vicenza, Italy. Vintage pieces like this are having a MAJOR moment right now and I am so glad she found me first.

This is why I thrift, babes. Because treasures like this exist and most people walk right past them. 😌
