Productive weekend! First official trip to the Providence Post Office is in the books! If you received a shipping notification from Friday night through last night, you’re in this bin (except for you my 🇨🇦 lovely, you went to UPS) (and so did 1 person in a remote part of California because no disrespect to the USPS but are you out of your mind with that price?). Anyway, thrilled I filled the bin! Now: back to work!

And that’s a wrap on the bulk of the stamping for 2026. Now, I need to put everything in alphabetical order. If you ordered custom letters, you should have gotten an email on 09/25 with a link to a form to complete. Check your inbox, check the bad place aka your spam and marketing folders. If you didn’t get it / don’t see it: *it’s important that you don’t freak out*. Just let me know and I can send you a link.

Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to take a theragun / ice pack / heating pad on rotation to my right arm from fingertips to shoulder blade for a minute before I start sorting.

Enjoy your Sunday. Maybe write someone a note. Hug your people. Send some mail.

XO, Santa Stephanie

Friends! Tomorrow is the LAST DAY for existing Custom Letter Carriers to order. You {should have} received an email from me at 8:45 AM Eastern time on July 1. I will be sending out a reminder to all Custom Letter Carriers by email shortly. If you have already ordered, please disregard, it’s not for you. It’s for people who have lost track of time and don’t realize it’s already been a week.

If you have questions, my DMs are open 💌

Hug your people. Send some mail.

You know how I said I’m going through the photos in my phone? These are from June 3, 2022. I flipped a u-turn after seeing a billboard about an historical carousel (which I rode all by myself) and toured the Museum of Independent Telephony and it was *incredible* and I saw the largest box-on-post-style mailbox I have ever, ever seen. Y’all it was SO BIG! I don’t think I’ll ever see another. If you’re near Abilene, Kansas, I highly recommend this stop. Are you near there? Have you been? Did you see the stuff about Santa and the saddle from 1917? So cool!

May 27, 2022. On this day 4 years ago I wrote a letter to a dying child. It’s the first & only time I’ve done that & it’s not a stretch to say that’s probably the fastest I’ve ever written a letter. I found out about this child through some of my friends on this platform. I asked if he believed in Santa, they said yes, I had an address almost immediately and I was on my way to the post office not 15 minutes later.

I am a big believer in doing what you can with what you have from where you’re at. This felt like the least I could do. It’s important to remember that what may feel like the most basic, entry-level, thing that comes incredibly easy to you might actually be extraordinary to other people.

I learned a lot about myself when I did this, not the least of which is that every day people I know do things that seem so extraordinary to me I wouldn’t even begin to attempt them. It never occurred to me that anyone might think that about something I do.

I have written to deceased children and very young children who’ve had a parent die in the line of duty. I have written to a dying child. I have written to incarcerated people. I have written to deceased parents and living parents grieving adult children. I have written to nurses during the early days of Covid. I have written to women who have miscarried children.

All of this, while incredibly taxing, is actually quite easy for me. I know down to my bones there’s no letter I can’t write. It literally feels like the least I can do for these people. I will die and/or cry trying.

I say all of this to remind you that I am 100% certain that there are many people in your life who can point directly and immediately to something that you do that seems just as extraordinary to them yet seems like a low bar for you. What you have to contribute matters to people no matter how “small” it may feel when you look around.

I also say this to remind you that letters are incredibly important and are not, in fact, a lost art form. So hug your people. Send some mail. Don’t let comparison stop you from doing what you can with what you have from right where you’re at. The life you change might be your own. XO, Stephanie 🎅🏻💌

Did a little time lapse on my trip from Warwick to Portsmouth, Barrington, and East Greenwich a few weeks back. Practicing doing voiceovers, editing, actually making a video, the whole bit. Y’all this is not easy. If you think it looks easy it’s because those creators are very good at it. Also: Rhode Islander’s have a reputation for not being willing to drive anywhere more than 10 minutes away. Obviously, I don’t have that gene, but this is some local on local shade so please enjoy. Hug your people. Send some mail. XO, Stephanie 🎅🏻💌

My incredibly talented friend Liesel at took a bunch of photos of her Christmas goodies and I love them all so much, but I especially love how much these names mean to her. The stories y’all tell me really do stay with me. If you’ve been wondering what the scale of a Letter from Bernard is, you can see one with the pink Elf. I hope your week is off to a good start. Hug your people. Send some mail. Maybe leave someone a 25 minute voice note. I did two of those things today, you can guess which. 😉🎅🏻💌

Bernard Letters will be returning for year 2 and I’m so excited, they really do charm me every time I make one {so tiny}. This is the only one I know of that arrived by balloon 🎈. Thanks to .inthedetails for this photo and a bunch more you’ll see in the run up to opening day(s). It’s always Christmas at my house and 2026 planning is well underway.
