People keep asking how I got started… Well, I was 21 and just moved into my very first condo. But I was determined to make my new place shine. A mix of charcoal, grey, and light black – and I stuck to it religiously. I mean, I even painted my ceiling fan got a grey. One day I was in a thrift store and there it was – a little black vase with hints of lava-like glaze in fiery reds, blues, and oranges, mostly on one side. Now, I wasn't thrilled about the colors, but for three bucks, I thought, 'Why not? I'll just hide the colorful side against the wall.' Little did I know, that unassuming vase would steal the show. Back home, it was like magic. That tiny vase transformed my grayscale haven into a volcanic eruption of style. Suddenly, I was a design guru! Naturally, I started scouting for more haeger vases like it, but this time, I went all out with colors, swapping them with the seasons.
