I have grown up sewing with my mother and it is a cherished family skill. As I grew up I have become skilled in custom jewelry, as well as, one of a kind artwork. I love creating something out of nothing and renewing life in clothes. I make custom blankets, pillows, and quilts, perfect for babies, birthdays, anniversaries, college students, weddings, or any occasion. Consultations to discuss ideas

~Blankets and quilts start at $40.
~Pillows start at 10. Clothing repairs and alterations is a fantastic way to extend the life of your beloved clothes or make new clothes fit perfectly.
~Shirt or Jacket repair start at $10.
~Replacing buttons are $5 each.
~Ironing -shirts are $7, pants are $5.
~Repairs on jeans, pants, slacks, and dress pants start at $10.
~Hem pants. 1 pair of pants is $7. Each subsequent pair is $6. For instance 2 pair of pants is $13, 3 is 19, 4 is 25, and 5 is 31. Custom jewelry can be made for every day all the way to exceptional events. The jewelry can be made to match or compliment your outfit.
~Necklaces and bracelets start at $7
~Rings start at $6

I offer sewing and jewelry classes. Please ask for more details on what is covered in each class. 1 class is $25, 4 classes is $90. Custom artwork is perfect for homes, dorms, as gifts, or for commemorative occasions and are available upon request. Consultations are always free. New project: making quilts with students in Louisiana, this project helps students build patterns, make smaller pieces into larger pieces, helps with ballance, and body coordination. What a great idea to incorporate into the classroom. Finished pictures of the quilts will be posted later this week.

What sewing has taught me: it is ok to rip everything apart and start again, Be sure to cut away the loose ends, make sure the good side faces out, but also, make sure the other side looks nice too, And most importantly, it is possible create something wonderful from nothing.
