Realized I never properly introduced myself here — hi, I’m Rami, the person behind Maison Vohl.

Most days I’m focused on perfecting one thing: the kind of T-shirt you reach for without thinking twice. So attending the Helen Hayes Awards meant briefly stepping outside my natural habitat (Egyptian cotton, minimal decisions, maximum comfort) and attempting actual formalwear.

I made the exception to celebrate my dear friend Julie Jacobson, whose leadership through Share Fund has helped direct critical support to arts organizations and community initiatives across DC — quietly making nights like this possible for so many artists and storytellers.
