Flash would never sit still. 🐾 Luckily I had a photo that showed his great big, yet super sweet Maltese personality. I painted this for my mom as a tribute to her precious pup.

Holiday guests have arrived 🐻🎄

I created these two bears using my winter toile fabric, and they couldn’t resist posing in front of the Christmas tree. Seeing this pattern turn into something handmade and full of personality is one of my favorite parts of designing.

Wishing you a cozy, creative holiday season.

I’ve been dreaming of holiday tablescapes, and this new design captures that feeling perfectly. I just finished a Scandinavian-inspired toile, and seeing it mocked up as a tablecloth made me fall a little in love with it.

The design is available on Spoonflower in five colorways and two backgrounds, and you can find it by searching design number 20819227.

Recent watercolor portraits. I love exploring personality and how each animal's character comes through in paint.

I found this old sketch of the Stavkirke yesterday, and it reminded me of the path it took — from pencil to watercolor to fabric to zip bags. A fun little full-circle moment. 🎨
