Backyard Ultra. No finish line. No shortcuts. Just one more loop.

Huge shoutout to our Runnin Gear athletes for showing up big at the Ofe to Laz Backyard Ultra! For those unfamiliar, it’s simple: tackle a 4.2-ish mile loop every hour, on the hour, until only one runner is left standing.

It takes grit, patience, and a whole lot of heart to keep answering the bell every single hour. We’re incredibly proud of both of our athletes for embracing the challenge and representing the Runnin Gear community with toughness and determination.

Way to dig deep, keep moving, and prove that limits are meant to be tested. 👊 let’s hear a round of applause for these two!!!!

Due to the poor air quality, we've made the decision to cancel tonight's group run.

We're sorry to disappoint you this weekend. Runnin' Gear will be unable to attend our group run at Indian Springs Metropark, for those of you who have a park pass please feel free to hit the trails and check in with us! Our RRC team will be at a private Brooks event, while others will be running The Raceway 5K at Waterford Hills! We hope you have a great weekend chasing miles and we will see you next week for our regularly scheduled events....

Don't forget you can join us this Sunday at the Oakland County Fairgrounds for a lowkey 5K run or walk (not timed). Afterwards stay for service with our friends at The River Church.

Our gears were sizzling tonight. Always a great Thursday when the sign is shinning and our friends come out to log some miles! Unfortunately this Saturday will be another solo run at Indian Springs Metropark as our RRC team will be at a private Brooks event! We look forward to resuming our normal schedule next weekend!

Runnin' Gear is heading to the fair grounds this weekend. Join us Sunday morning at 8:30am for a nice easy group run. Afterwards hang out with the crew over at The River, singing and crowd games from 9:30am - 10:30am, with service at 10:30am.
