Heather Reis discovered her passion for fiber art in the early 90s. Without a clue how to knit, but with a lifelong fascination with fiber, color, texture and creative experimentation, Heather has evolved into a professional knitter and instructor. With 13 years of focused experience in fiber arts, she continuously studies knitting, as well as other creative mediums, and loves to share her knowled
ge and learn from others; teaching workshops to beginning knitters and master knitters alike. As a lover of people, she is devoted to creating thriving artist communities and strives to make it easy and affordable for artists to succeed and enjoy the benefits of handcrafts. She is a resident of Wauconda and is thrilled to be teaching all levels of knitting at Unraveled; contributing to the revitalization of our wonderful town!
