🎂 celebrating my 3️⃣9️⃣th trip around the sun downtown in the city this weekend came with an unexpected blessing.

🏃‍♀️witnessing the Chicago Marathon was such an emotional and touching experience. From hearing the crowds cheering outside my hotel room to watching complete strangers cry, encourage, and celebrate one another, I was reminded of the beauty of humanity and the power of coming together.

💪🏼 congratulations to every runner who crossed that finish line. The dedication, discipline, sacrifice, blood, sweat, and tears that brought you there did not go unnoticed.

🤍 watching you all reminded me of my own journey in building my business. Some days are challenging, progress feels slow, and the finish line seems far away. But God reminds us that perseverance produces growth, and that the race is not always about how quickly we finish, but about having the faith to keep going.

🙏 this weekend was a beautiful reminder to keep showing up, keep believing, and keep running the race God has placed before me and that sometimes the greatest inspiration comes from witnessing the perseverance of others.

✝️ “Let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.” -Hebrews 12:1

A little reminder of who we are. 🌿

The Rooted Ritual Apothecary was created to be more than a store. We wanted to create a space rooted in community, connection, education and genuinely taking care of one another.

We believe in holistic living, thoughtful ingredients and giving people more options when it comes to their everyday wellness. From our herbs and tinctures to plant based food, sustainable products and local makers, everything we bring into this space is chosen with intention.

But one of the things we are most proud of is our community.

We LOVE watching other small businesses grow. We love supporting women who take the leap and build something of their own. We love collaborating, sharing knowledge and creating opportunities for people in our community to succeed.

And we want you to know that our door is always open. Whether you have a question, need some guidance, are looking for a local resource or simply need a place where you feel welcome, we are here.

We will never claim to know everything. We will always continue researching, learning and growing.

At the end of the day, this little store was built with a whole lot of heart and one very simple intention:

Take care of people. Take care of our community. And leave things a little better than we found them. 🌿🖤
