Problem solving on the road to ! First trip with the e-bike mounted on the wall rack in the new van. Welp, 4 hours in we noticed a little extra bounce back there and realized the nails had pulled loose. A quick dismount for the bikes that thankfully slotted into new temporary homes and we were on the road in ten minutes knowing we could work around them for the weekend. However since I literally have time on my hands waiting for Ben while he films, I took the rainy morning to purchase what feels like our tenth set of Milwaukee drivers (this one will now live in the van) and patched together what I could with some FaceTime consultations with Travis so I didn’t send the wood screws into the wiring. 🏆 after discovering we needed a socket set as well to take off the rack, I settled for a “good enough” temp fix vs buying more tools. After shoving some extra crap underneath the tire to reduce the drag, I think we are back in business and appreciating the extra real estate.
