It began with a dream....... to create Gypsy Chic clothing from up-cycled materials. I had no clue where this journey would lead me or how long I would be on it. That was 2011. My journey led me down several paths from doing festivals and flea markets, to consignment shops to where I am now at Etsy.com . When I signed up at etsy, Gypsy Chic was taken, so after much thought , since I up-cycle and repurpose, and my studio name was Tattered Rose ,UpCycledRose was the name I chose. It has been a good fit with what I have evolved to over time. I love vintage lace and crochet; they are my signature materials, but saving high end clothing from land fills is another passion, so I try to work them both into one unique piece of wearable art.
