Go back and pull out your bible, prayer books and journals that got you through.
Return to prayer, again and remain consistent.
1. It brings calm in chaos.
Taking a few quiet minutes to pray can lower stress and settle a racing mind. It's a built-in reset button for hard days.
2. It builds gratitude.
Prayer often starts with repenting and giving thanks. Naming what's good in your life even small things shifts your focus from what's missing to what's already there.
3. It creates space for honesty.
Prayer is one of the few places where you don't have to perform. You can show up exactly as you are uncertain, tired, hopeful, angry and simply be heard.
4. It strengthens connection.
Whether prayed alone or with others, prayer can deepen relationships with a community, a tradition, or a sense of something bigger than the everyday.
5. It offers hope.
Even in difficult seasons, prayer can be an anchor. It reminds us that today isn't the whole story.
You don't need the perfect words or the perfect moment. You just need to start.
