Maggi’s FAVs!

Here are some of my favorites from the new earrings I dropped online this week 😍 they are all designed and created by me and my mind! No internet or AI inspo here. 😉

All of these earrings start out from a literal leather hide. I punch or cut out the shape, case it (get it wet to a specific dampness for tooling), hammer out the stamped design, let them dry, paint, dry, apply antique for contrast, dry, buff them out with a conditioner, dry, and apply a finish (multiple coats). Then I can put them together as earrings. 😮‍💨

Stamped, tooled, and painted items literally take days to complete due to the lengthy process. I hope when you see my stamped and painted earrings (and other items) you appreciate the art and learned skill that goes into stamped and tooled leather pieces. It’s not a computer, the internet, a laser, what have you, making these. These pieces are pieces of handmade wearable art. ✨

Just a friendly reminder- please make sure you are filling out a sales slip - and completely! Over the weekend there was a sale that was written on the divider for the carbon paper in the sales book so,

1️⃣ there was no name or contact information and
2️⃣ there was no cash left for the sale

When filling out a sales slip, at minimum, please leave your name and a contact number. I don’t need your address and all that jazz. Please also indicate on the slip if you paid for your sale in cash or if you paid via Venmo directly to the vendor. Most of the time, the slips are being filled out correctly so I appreciate it! Thank you!
