Last night, I took some time to simply enjoy the farm for myself.

After everyone left our event, I sat alone in the twilight with a glass of wine and a bouquet I cut for myself and just took it all in.

No crop planning or business brainstorming. No to-do lists or thinking about how to optimize anything.

Just sitting. Listening to the birds and the wind in the trees. It. Was. Lovely.

When half my brain is already in planning mode for 2027 it’s easy to forget about right now.

I’m glad I took the time, I needed it. 😚

Pro Tip: kids can’t work and watch YouTube at the same time πŸš«πŸ“Ί

Got my boys out of the house and over to the farm to help me out today. We got dirty and sweaty and made some progress on the perennial beds on the hill (always the most neglected spot).

Sam drove the Gator and Hudson’s positive attitude reminded me so much of his dad. Overall the fact that they’re getting older and stronger is a bonus for me! πŸ’ͺ🏼
