DO YOU REMEMBER WHEN EVERYTHING CHANGED IN 2020?
I started making handmade stuff to earn a little extra money. I had plans, motivation, and hope. But just a few weeks in… the COVID lockdown happened. Everything paused. And honestly, so did my spirit for a while.
I felt discouraged. Like my small dream was put on hold before it even had a chance to grow.
But instead of quitting completely, I kept going quietly.
I kept sewing.
I kept practicing.
I kept creating.
Because I told myself: this effort isn’t wasted.
My handmade creations, they became gifts. They became small blessings to others. And slowly, little by little, people started noticing… and buying.
Today, it’s still a hobby—but it’s also something more. It’s a reminder.
A reminder that:
Not every season is for profit.
Some seasons are for planting.
For growing.
For becoming better.
And when the right time comes, what you’ve been working on in silence will bloom.
So if you feel like what you’re doing isn’t going anywhere—don’t stop. Keep showing up. Keep building. Keep trusting.
