I absolutely LOVE working with fabric! I made this box as a gift for my sister’s-in-law first baby that’s arriving in June!

It’s a wooden box, fully wrapped in fabric ( I’ve used duck canvas and cotton for this one) and the idea was to make it into a baby memory box or some sort of storage/ decoration for the nursery!
I really love how the colors work together.

I have a few more friends having babies and I’m planning on making some more boxes 🤍

It’s 80F outside and I’m SO HAPPY! I can’t wait to take all my sunglass pouches to the beach ☺️

One of the questions that I got asked the most on the event this past weekend was “what do you use this pouch for?”
To me the right answer is always “you can use it for whatever you want” but since so many people had the same question I figured that I’d start sharing how I usually use the different types os pouch that I make.

So I like using this one as a pencil case, sunglass case and also for make up brushes.
What would you use it for?

I can’t get over the colors of this linen from .
Almost all of the pouches that I’ve been posting lately were fully made with remnant linen fabric donated by and it just makes me so happy to know that they’re zero waste! There’s so much that you can do with scraps of fabric!

I’m bringing these colorful sunglasses/ pencil cases drawstrings bags to tomorrow!

Sometimes I honestly don’t know what’s my favorite part, sewing or photographing the pouches! I’m so happy with the result of sewing like a mad woman for the last few weeks 😂
