Seven moves on an 1892 West Village warehouse. 👉

It started under the floor — a subfloor six inches out of level, corner to corner, brought to true on hundreds of pedestals before a single board was laid. The kind of work that’s invisible once it’s done.

The rest followed on purpose: plan organised around light, hallway angled to the terrace, kitchen opened and lightened, a screen wall commissioned not bought, the art planned before its wall existed.

A 130-year-old building that finally works like one.

After far too much research, I finally found a grocery cart worth recommending.
:
Unlike the typical pull-behind trolleys, this one pushes like a proper shopping cart, which is far easier on the back. It’s exceptionally well engineered, remarkably solid on NYC streets, and rated to carry up to 100 lb. Remove the baskets and it doubles as a compact utility cart for moving boxes or other heavy items.
