Many of you mentioned wanting wider gussets, and I’ve been listening!

That feedback is now being implemented directly into the flats and tech packs for the first Schmeeks collection.

Seeing ideas from this community turn into real design decisions is honestly the most exciting part of this process.

The last couple weeks have been absolute chaos. I had to move in this brutal New England weather, and I got two flat tires back-to-back 🫠. Hopefully all of that’s behind is behind me though, and I can get back to designing this brand! 🩷

Starting a polewear brand means balancing two things: gorgeous designs and a startup budget.

My goal is glamorous pieces, inclusive sizing, and real support — but every extra color, size, and style multiplies inventory costs fast.

So I had to get creative.

I designed a two-piece bodysuit system where the top and bottom clip together so you can mix and match sizes. Adjustable straps at both the top and bottom help dial in the fit.

Now I need your help with the final detail…

Starting a polewear brand has shown me just how many decisions and delicate actions behind the scenes.

Staying within budget.
Choosing the right business structure.
Deciding where money goes.
Learning advertising.
Making design calls.

It’s realizing how much mental space this actually takes up — even when I’m not actively working, I’m still thinking about it.

And on top of that, trying to hold a big vision all at once:

Inclusivity.
Support.
Versatility.
Design.
Affordability.

None of these exist in isolation. Every choice affects another.

I’m working toward all of these goals slowly, one day at a time.
Learning as I go.
Building intentionally.

What matters most to you when you’re training? 🩷
