I’ve been a little quiet about what I’ve been working on lately because I’ve had a pretty big project keeping me busy!

A local church reached out and asked if I could make a bulk order of wristlets for their upcoming women’s conference. It was such an honor to be trusted with this project, and after a lot of cutting, sewing, pressing, and topstitching… they’re finally finished! 🎉

You may recognize one of the prints, but the rest are all brand new! I had so much fun picking fabrics that all worked together while still giving everyone a little variety.

If you see one you just have to have, send me a message! I may have a bit more fabric laying around. 😉

I honestly thought this quilt was gone forever.

My grandma made it for me when I was little, and she made the exact same one for my sister. Somewhere over the years, mine disappeared, and I figured it had been lost.

Then my sister found it tucked away in a storage tub in her basement and brought it back to me. I was so happy to see it again.

I had forgotten about the cross-stitched tag on the back. Grandma always added one to her quilts, and seeing it again made me smile. I love that I get to keep this little piece of her and all the memories that come with it. ❤️

Sometimes the best projects start with a message from a friend. 💕

A dear friend reached out and asked if I could make an octopus gear shift cover for her daughter’s new car, and of course I said yes! 🐙🚗

I had so much fun bringing this colorful little octopus to life. The bright yarn makes it extra cheerful, and I can’t help but smile every time I look at those curly tentacles. I hope it brings a little bit of joy to every drive!

Custom orders like this are one of my favorite parts of what I do. I love helping turn fun ideas into something handmade and unique. 🧶✨

It’s officially August, which means my brain has switched into full fall mode. 🍂🎃 I’m ready for cozy blankets, pumpkins, warm coffee, and all the autumn decor.

So tell me… when do you start decorating for fall? Are you Team August, Team September, or do you wait until October?

Well… I got a reality check today. 😅

I finally spread my blanket out, and it turns out I’m not nearly as close to the finish line as I thought. When it’s all piled up in my lap, it’s so hard to tell how much progress I’ve actually made!

Since the rows are worked lengthwise, I’m still adding to the width, so each row doesn’t look like much until you lay the whole thing out.

The good news? It’s already looking so cozy, and I’m really happy with how it’s turning out. 🩶

The bad news? My last skein is on the hook, and I’m pretty sure I’m going to need at least four more skeins… maybe even more. 😭 So it looks like this blanket won’t be crossing the finish line this week after all.

At this point, I might even tuck it away for a little while and go ahead and start on my new fall-inspired throw. 🍂 I don’t usually like having multiple WIPs going, but August is calling my name, and that cozy fall yarn is getting harder and harder to ignore. 😂

That’s crafting for you… one minute you’re celebrating, the next you’re planning another Hobby Lobby yarn run!

Two skeins left! 🎉

This wheat stitch blanket is finally starting to look like a blanket instead of an endless pile of yarn. 😂 I’m down to my last two skeins, and once I get to just one left, I’m going to spread it out and see if I can make it to the finish line—or if I’ll need to make one more yarn run.

I’m really hoping I have enough because I’m so excited to see this one finished! Either way, we’re definitely in the home stretch now. 🩶

One skein down… three to go! 🧶✨

I finished another skein for my Wheat Stitch Blanket, which means I’m officially one step closer to the finish line! Seeing my yarn stash get smaller is exciting… and a little nerve-wracking at the same time. 😅

I think these last three skeins will get me there… but I’m also mentally preparing myself for a quick yarn run because I have a feeling I might need a couple more. 😂

Either way, this cozy blanket is coming together beautifully, and I can’t wait to see it finished. One stitch at a time! 🤎🍂

I made the mistake of looking at fall crochet patterns… 🍂🎃

Now I’ve fallen head over heels for the cutest pumpkin blanket and I want to start it immediately. 😂

But first… I need to finish what I’m already working on! So this week I’m going all in on my Wheat Stitch Blanket. No new projects until this one is off the hook (someone hold me to it! 🤣).

Who’s guilty of collecting WIPs because a new pattern steals your heart? 🙋‍♀️
