Spider plants 🪴 (Chlorophytum comosum) are popular, easy-to-grow houseplants known for their arching leaves and "spiderettes" (baby plantlets) that dangle from long stems, making them ideal for hanging baskets.

They thrive in bright, indirect light but tolerate low light, prefer well-draining soil, and are pet-safe and air-purifying.

Spider plants are highly effective at filtering Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) and other common indoor pollutants, including:
Formaldehyde: Found in furniture, carpets, and cleaning products.
Xylene: Often present in printing, rubber, and leather industries.
Toluene: Common in paints, adhesives, and nail polish.
Carbon Monoxide: Frequently enters from outdoor traffic or indoor combustion.
Benzene: Emitted by cigarette smoke, detergents, and synthetic fibers.
Nitrogen Dioxide: Produced by gas stoves and heating systems.
Ozone: Absorbed from indoor electronic devices.

Coturnix quails available up for adoption 😍

Coturnix quails are excellent, low-maintenance, and fast-maturing birds perfect for small-space, urban, or backyard homesteading. They are highly productive, offering eggs in approximately 6–8 weeks.

They are great meat birds but also make great companions. They are delicious, lean, nutrient-dense meat. They are hardy, quiet, and can produce around 250–300 eggs per year, often replacing the need for chickens in small spaces.

Quiet & Generally Odorless: Their calls are much quieter than chicken roosters, making them ideal for urban areas with noise restrictions.

Hardiness: These birds are resilient in both hot and cold, weather, , though they require protection from predators, wind, and rain, and are less susceptible to common poultry diseases.

Nutritious Eggs and Meat: The eggs are rich in nutrients, and the meat is a low-fat alternative to chicken, offering a gamey taste.

Easy to Manage for Beginners: They are easy to care for and are a good, entry-level, option for, new homesteaders.

I also have a batch of 13 quails available for $4 each, born 2/11 After a week old, the price will go up at $5 each.

Regrettably, I have neglected this account due to staying very busy with trying to keep up with my silly little farm & as a stay-at-home mom, catching up with life has been nearly impossible 🫣
