Original and custom stuffed animals made from old clothing, textiles and more! Once upon a time, there was a fellow with a fur coat. It was his grandmother's.

It was lonely and being eaten by mice. A call went out, "Oh, rescue my coat in a way that I can display and enjoy it!" A clever seamstress heard his plea and made for him the first ever Once Again Bears, a grandma bear and her cub. An idea was born! Soon the seamstress was rescuing discarded clothing to make more imaginative friends. Fairies! Vampires! Dancers! Adventurers! Others came with attic treasures and the stories they told. The needles flew and the stuffed family grew. Now, the question is, what can she make for you?

It's the most wonderful time of the year!

My niece is having her first birthday! I got some of her outgrown clothes, a dress and a onesie, to make into a memory toy for her parents. My little stuffies don't take much fabric and I had leftovers after I made a 12-inch bunny. So, I made a seahorse for the birthday girl. I've been making seahorses, with the thought to make them simple and affordable, not necessarily for children too young for imaginative play. For my niece, I made floppy fins and added a jingle bell inside. I grabbed the fin and shook it vigorously, the way I know she will, to make sure it was secure. The eyes are hand-painted with non-toxic acrylic. The nose and tail make wonderful handles for toddlers. Movement, sound, and things to chew on: what more could a toddler want? Now I think I need to make more!
