Too young to have seen Jerry, but old enough to have more than just a touch of grey in my hair. For me, Bob Weir was the Grateful Dead, and not just because of our shared affinity for short shorts in our younger years. Taking the leap from the corporate world to vending on shakedown street for Dead and Company, Bob’s presence connected me to deadheads of the past and present in a way that I never expected to inspire me the way that it has. My favorite part about owning Pesca is the friends and families I’ve meet along the way, especially at the shows, where so many parents were sharing the experience for the first time with their kids. It even showed in Bob’s own family as they would often be strolling through shakedown to just take in the movement that their dad and his friends had created. Fare Thee Well Bob and I’m forever grateful for your music and especially for the community of wonderful people I’ve been privileged to have become a part of!
