When traditional schools went remote, I watched my little girl, who was in Pre-K at the time, turn completely lifeless in front of the screen. The problem wasn’t the computer; it was that they tried to force a rigid school model onto a screen. 💻
Sad for her and her future, I shut the laptop and promised her she’d never have to do that type of school again. ❌
I started homeschooling her with a deliberate blend of purposeful play and structured learning, mixing in piano, gymnastics, and hands-on projects. Her spark came right back! 🎯
It worked so well that in 2024, we officially launched Purpose Prep Academy to scale this freedom for families everywhere, whether you join us at our physical campus in Winter Garden, FL, or through our highly engaging, interactive online academy nationwide.
I took the heart of homeschooling, and blended it with robust, core academics, exposing kids to high – level STEM concepts, hands–on learning, immersive explorations, and fun while doing it. No traditional boxes. Just active learning that feeds their natural curiosities. It is literally a place where kids love to come and learn. 📚
One of my parents told me that she never has to set an alarm for her child to get up anymore. He’s always up and waiting for her to get him to our learning community.
Another parent said her child has grown so much; not just academically, but as a person.
I didn’t simply take the concepts of school and put it into a different building. I elevated the practice of learning and created a love for it.
