I finished up the micro sized gowns the other day! I’ve been knitting a blanket for a newborn sized gown, but the yarn that I was using was discontinued, so I had to make it smaller—go figure. I’m trying to push through and get it done so that I can start on the tiny sized gowns.

Happy Father’s Day to the fathers whose babies never made it earthside.

The world often forgets that pregnancy loss is a loss for dads too.

You loved your baby.
You dreamed about who they would become.
You imagined holding them, teaching them, watching them grow.

Just because your child isn’t here doesn’t mean you aren’t a father.

Today, we’re remembering you too.

I’ve decided to only do blankets of two different sizes, as it’s easier to grab and pack that way!

Gown sized blankets will all be 18inx18in

Cocoons will all be 8inx8in

Keeping blankets to blues, pinks, white, or a soft green/yellow is much appreciated.

I’m currently at a standstill, again.🥴

As I started to make the newborn sized gowns, I realized that I didn’t have any bigger blankets. I started knitting some, but I’ve been battling what I assume is tendinitis for about 2 months now, so knitting takes its toll on me.

I’m also thinking about doing away with all of the different sized blankets, and making the gowns all ine size and smaller ones for the cocoons. I will post an update if I decide to move forward with that and the sizes.

I’m also waiting on more labels to come in, that way I can finish packing up the items that I have completed.

I’ve also secured 4 more partnerships, three with hospitals here in Illinois and one in North Carolina! My goal is to move through everything that I have made up, secure partners and ship items out almost immediately. I’ll keep a small amount of each size on hand for personal deliveries, but other than that I will just be making to ship out.
