The Esler Family Foundation is committed to supporting youth opportunity, mental health, and economic mobility values that strongly align with the work we do every day at WAVVZ NewAge Creative Lab.

Founded and led by co-founders Fashion Designer and , Executive Director. WAVVZ of Stitching creates space for youth and young adults to step into creativity in a real and meaningful way. Through hands-on work on sewing machines, garment construction, and design, participants learn how to take an idea from concept to creation developing their own pieces while building a vision that extends far beyond the classroom.

At WAVVZ NewAge Creative Lab, the way we teach is intentional. We believe in creating environments where young people feel seen, supported, and challenged to grow where they can explore their identity, express themselves freely, and develop skills that connect directly to real creative pathways. Whether they are touching a sewing machine for the first time or expanding on skills they already have, each participant is guided through a process that builds not only technical ability, but also teamwork, communication, and a deeper understanding of what is possible for their future.

This support, through the Inspiring Generosity Matching Grant, allows us to expand access for youth across Worcester and continue building opportunities rooted in creativity, confidence, and workforce development.

We are truly thankful for partners who believe in this vision and for the trust placed in our work as we continue creating spaces where the next generation can grow, lead, and create with purpose 💜

This powerful community event honors individuals affected by cancer and HIV/AIDS through art, fashion, storytelling, and unity. We’re grateful to be part of a night that celebrates strength, healing, and resilience while bringing together families, models, designers, and community partners.

These amazing young leaders sewed tote bags and filled them with hygiene items, baby essentials, and food products — all made with love, compassion, and purpose. 🧵👜🍼

Another beautiful day bringing sewing and creative skills to our youth ✂️🧵✨
This time at the YMCA moments like this truly fill our hearts.

This year, WAVVZ NewAge Creative Lab has been working with schools and youth programs across Worcester, and watching kids light up as they learn new skills brings us so much joy.

At the end of this video, you’ll see one of the girls sewing for the very first time and within minutes, she stepped up to help her friends. This is what community looks like. We love witnessing moments like this 💛

Thank you to the schools and programs that believe in what we do and open their doors to us and none of this would be possible without . So much love and gratitude ❤️

It’s always a beautiful experience working with the students at South High’s Fashion Club ❤️ We were invited to come in and teach the students sewing fundamentals, and they created their own handmade pillows creativity in action!

WAVVZ NewAge continues its Fashion/Sewing Tour across Worcester high schools and after-school programs. Thanks to our partnership with Judy’s Jubilee, we’re able to bring sewing education and creative skills directly to schools.

Wrapping off at South High was especially meaningful for our Executive Director/Co-Founder , who was once a student there herself. 💫

We look forward to growing this work and continuing long-term collaboration.

Week 2 at Burncoat
Fashion Club! ✨

We’re honored to lead Burncoat High School’s first-ever Fashion Club — a 10-week creative journey through sewing, design, and self-expression.

This week we dove into paper stitching and machine practice — building confidence one stitch at a time 🧵✂️

Big thank you to Worcester Public Schools and the Worcester Arts Council for supporting this youth-led vision. And a special shoutout to Pamela for helping bring it to life through her incredible advocacy and belief in what we do!

About two weeks ago, Wavvz NewAge had the honor of helping host “The Crown Within Me” workshop for Miss Worcester as part of her community service ❤️

The kids wrote down the hurtful words they’ve been called, crumpled them up, and LET THEM GO. Then they created crowns that reflected who they truly are bold, worthy, and powerful 👑🎨

We closed with a red-carpet walk where each child introduced themselves with new identities like Miss Brave, Miss Confident, Mr. Smart and more. Watching them claim their greatness was everything ✨

Moments like this remind us why we do what we do.

Day 1 at North High was a success!

We’ve been busy, but so grateful to be in the classroom connecting with seniors and sharing who we are + what WAVVZ NewAge Creative Lab represents.

We spoke about our journeys, our creative purpose, and what it means to express identity through fashion. Students began sketching what their first collection could look like we didn’t get to finish, but next week we’ll share those designs and jump into sewing basics to start working hands-on with the machines.

Such a beautiful afternoon at !
We’ve spent the last two weeks sewing with the girls, and this week they created their very own pillows from picking fabrics to stitching them together. They brought so much creativity, patience, and confidence to the process 🧵💜

At WAVVZ NewAge, we partner with schools + after-school programs to provide hands-on fashion + sewing workshops that help youth build confidence, life skills, and creative expression.
