Today, August 1st, 2026, my art officially made its MLB debut. 🔥⚾️
A few weeks ago, Spencer Horwitz from the Pittsburgh Pirates reached out and asked if I could tape a few bats for him to use in games.
Obviously that was the quickest yes of my life.
I taped them up, shipped them to Cincinnati, and today he came back from the IL and used one in a big league game.
I fu***ng did it.
There have been so many times during this journey where I’ve wanted to quit. This whole thing has been an absolute rollercoaster. I’ve been stressed, pi**ed off, broke down, complained, cried, all of it.
But every single time, I got up the next day and went back to work.
I’ve always joked that I was on my “minor league art grind,” but the goal was always to somehow make it to the big leagues.
Today it happened.
And honestly, this never happens if I don’t decide to record myself taping a bat putter for Ty France and post it.
So post your work. Keep going. Keep being annoying about your dream.
