I met a woman this weekend whose job was far from glamorous. Most people would probably understand if she had a bad attitude—but instead, she worked with genuine care for serving others.

Watching her reminded me of Colossians 3:23-24: “Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for people.”

We all have responsibilities we’d rather skip, but the way we approach them is a testimony. The smallest, unseen tasks can become acts of worship when we remember who we’re really serving.

She may never know the impact she had on me, but I’m so thankful our paths crossed.
