A recent customer shared these before and after photos of a beautiful vintage goat leather jacket.

The jacket was passed down from father to son and after years of use and exposure to the elements, it was in need of some TLC.

Moldy March PSA!

As Moldy March is here and the humidity and temperature is on the rise, we need to ensure that we care and protect our clothes from damage and rot. Leather is particularly vulnerable and can get very moldy, very easily.
In most cases removing mold leather is really simple and achievable with common household products.
One simple way to clean leather is with a cloth and clear vinegar. If you don’t have any vinegar, you can use lemon juice, soap or even some mild disinfectants.
First, gently brush your leather goods with a cloth or a brush.
Then get your cleaning product (vinegar etc) and mix it with some water. Damp the cloth in the mixture and softly swipe upon the moldy area. Do not overdo with water, the cloth should be damp. Excessive water could damage the leather.
Once you completed this, dry your leather item until all water signs have disappeared. Molds thrive in dark and wet conditions, and will die in the sunlight so leave it in the open to dry.
After the mold has disappeared, you can feed your hide with a nourishing product like Young Buffalo Leather Conditioner that should make it like new.

Young Buffalo Leather Conditioner is made with a unique mix of beeswax and natural oils.
Help condition and protect your leather and prepare it for whatever the day brings.
Feed your hide and protect it against mould, rain, dirt and age. It can provide a deep and rejuvenating condition to restore dry, cracked and scratched leather goods.

1) Clean dirt, build-up, and other surface contaminants before applying. 2) Apply a small amount onto a dry lint-free cloth and work into leather using a circular motion. 3) Let dry and wipe off any excess. Repeat process as needed.
Available in two sizes, 40ml and 120ml.
