**Appearance
As Segun Ina Alagbede the former Eko Marine Corp Soldier, he has a physique chiseled to its full potential and as a FACT Agent is adorned in a Trench coat, Cargo Pants with utility boots plus a gun holster conveying a Desert Eagle pistol 4.5 caliber.
When transformed into the Blacksmith his bio suit manifests on him and this increases his mass. On the right side of his chest lies the “Cosmic Clock”, a STIP (Space Time interstellar Portal) device installed by Lushaak the Cosmic Traveler with the aid of Ile Afokoyeri (Mother Earth Personified)
Origin Story:
Segun began his childhood as a Masquerade apprentice at the Agemo Temple and his extensive training awakened his sub conscious. A Masquerade is an African Warrior trained in the art of mysticism, cloak and dagger, mano a mano and fencing with the IDA- the sword of death, the vengeful spirit of a potent warrior. He was ordered by his Father to choose a skilful craft that will enable him to master and utilize the four elements of balance in the universe, on his 16th birthday, and thus is the beginning of his chronicles as the BLACKSMITH.
His journey begins with him tied to the tree of life within ‘Igbo Iran’- the mysterious forest of miracles where he is connected to the tree through its roots plugged into various parts of his corpus like hypo allergic needles administering “Cosmic Sap” into his corpus.
The tree of life (IGI-AGBA) is an uncanny Iroko tree charged with the responsibility by ILE AFOKOYERI- Mother Earth personified to heal, strengthen and nurture till she returns to free her bridegroom of Iron- The Blacksmith: Last Harbinger of mankind.
He got enlisted in to the EKO MARINE Special Forces training in EKO DEFENCE ACADEMY, Akodo towards the end of his twenty first years. He specialized in Demolitions and Explosive hardware.
He became a Demolition Expert and was posted to the Ordinance Section of EKO MI8 (MILITARY INTELLIGENCE) as 2nd lieutenant after graduation from the Officers Economic School (OES). His deployment to The FaCT (Finance and Counter Terrorism) unit, a special task force established to tackle international money laundering, funding of terrorism and other national security related crimes within the provisions of the Security Threat Law started his tour of duty.
He had been tied to the Tree after a near death experience. Following the death of his mother and father by the hands of his best mate and colleague turned Nemesis, he was set up and a failed attempt to assassinate him by OPHIDIUS SERPENTES, his colleague in the EKO MARINE CORP brought him to this mysterious abode where he was empowered.
His Liberation by ILE-AFOKOYERI and LUSHAAK; the Captain of the PHANTOM PLANE began his journey as Eko Champion.
Lushaak appeared and entered the Blacksmith’s corpus where he activated his THOUGHT ADJUSTER: An adjuster is man’s infallible cosmic compass always pointing the soul towards the RES ORBIS (Creator of All). An absolute essence of an infinite being imprisoned with the mind of a finite creature which depending on the choosing of such a mortal, can eventually consummate this temporary union of ORBIS and Man and veritably actualise a new order of being for unending universal service.
Lushaak activated the Thought adjuster to fuse with the COSMIC CLOCK , the Time Machine embedded in a Crystal rock domiciled in Segun’s body. The Cosmic Clock is flowing with a viscous liquid substance known as COSMOGENAS. This substance altered his DNA and mutated him.
The Blacksmith is awakened from a Tempus Sominus (Time Sleep) and he is activated by his Adjuster. The newly evolved Blacksmith is now a MECH-ORGANIC MAN: a metallic / organic being with uncanny abilities which will be discovered in the course of events. He took off to Eko Republic with his MECH-ORGANIC VEHICLE (OKO AGBA).
**Blacksmith Universe
It is the year 2077, “Old Lagos” now called “Eko” is a Sovereign Republic floating in the sky.
A new Era had been ushered in after the severance of Old Lagos, a former
Province of the “Giant of Africa” from her Progenitor- NIGERIA. This occurred courtesy of the” Mystic Terrorism” Saga which held the whole World to ransom.
Back in the year 2050, Eko gained Independence from NAIJA REPUBLIC- The Capitol state for the new “Government of Africa”.
In the year, 2051 Eko is reborn as an Independent Republic, a woman of Substance with a plethora of children all dependent on her for their creature comfort. Eko o Ni baje o! Is the slogan dedicated to her and this is uttered by all her citizens, either law abiding or conflagrant.
The year 2057, the new Eko Republic led by the ASIWAJU/GOVERNOR GENERAL initiated and launched an Anti-gravitational Land Mass Sustenance Program tagged “PROJECT JERICHO”.
After the severance of the island from her former husband, NAIJA REPUBLIC due to the mystic terror that scourged the earth, she began to break off and was submerging.
MAXLAB TECH, a Scottish based technology consult company specialised in advance research covering various spheres of scientific discoveries, was summoned to the rescue.
Max McGregor, an illustrious Weapons Developer is the young and successful CEO of this company with a ground breaking record for breaking boundaries that defies even the power of nature herself.
This tech company was awarded the contract by the Asiwaju/Governor General led Government to salvage the sinking island from submergence into the depths of Davy Jones just like the myth of Atlantis. Project Jericho took off after all necessary conditions were met by both parties.
A plan was drawn for the reconstruction of five modern mega-cities from what was left of the old five divisions of the island-Ikorodu, Badagry, Ikeja, Lagos Island and Epe (IBILE).
A third party in collaboration with a foreign construction company was invited to join this development. OKE CORP an indigenous company owned by- Chief Emeka Okereke, a renowned Afro-politico and one of the most powerful Businessmen in Eko Republic along with JULIUS BERGER, a German based construction giant won the contract to rebuild the cities.
OKE CORP and JULIUS BERGER was awarded the construction contract to build infrastructure, edifices, bridges and roads and was agglutinated with MAXLAB for synergy which will enable a swift and successful transition of the project.
A new Metro Rail System Network was constructed by the duo of MAXLAB and OKE CORP with JB; this new rail network connected the Five Megacities. Ikeja is the central Megacity being the Capitol while Ikorodu, Lagos Island, Badagry and Epe were positioned at the four cardinal points of the new construct. All megacities connected via the rail network.
This new construct is the semblance of a potent cross.
This new society is covertly being run by the SYNDIK8, a mysterious top level crime cartel with influential members of the society and the Blacksmith blends into the society as a newly posted FaCT agent named SENSAY SMITH to unravel their activities.
**Powers and Abilities
***The Cosmic Clock gives him access to unlimited powers depending on the challenges being confronted. It’s also a STIP (Space Time Interstellar Portal) device and can travel through time and Space. It also gives the Blacksmith ability to fashion any weapon he desires with his hands.
*** Invulnerability is also guaranteed with presence of the Cosmic Clock in the Blacksmith.
*** Durability: His Bio suit can withstand almost any condition and suitable for Spare travels.
*** Energy Manipulation : He can absorb energy and convert to other forms.
*** Mass Manipulation: The Blacksmith can increase his Mass and size when confronting Giants and Monsters. He can also shrink to microbe size to confront micro-organic adversaries.
***Time Travel: The Cosmic Clock is a STIP device that can generate tachyon particles making time travel possible for the Blacksmith.
