Hello 🫶🏼

I know it’s been quite some time since you’ve seen Thread & Table on your feed. My new role of MOTHER has taken all of my time. And I love it.

We have been absolutely enthralled with our son. As first-time parents, everything is new. We’re soaking in every movement, every noise, every look, every little part of who he is.

I’ve been asked recently if I’m coming back to Thread & Table, and I want to assure you that I’m not going anywhere. But some things may be changing.

Despite my absence on social media, my itch to create hasn’t left. I’m still sewing (when I can), still embroidering, and brainstorming during late-night nursing sessions about what I want T&T to look like.

Throughout this process, I’ve come to realize that I want my business to emulate my life as it is now. Quite frankly, it’s impossible to separate the two.

What does life look like now?

Slow living. Slow mothering. Slow creating.

Slow = intentional, curated, rooted, nostalgic.

How will this change T&T?

Little doses of what we already are—a boutique. But more of what we want to be: a handmade heirloom.

Less fast fashion, more handmade creations.

It will be a slow process, but one we’re really looking forward to nurturing. I hope you stick around for it!

Just wanted to share a special project I’ve been working on… cloud bags!

I wanted to expand my handmade line in Thread & Table and am excited to announce that we will be selling these soon!

Each bag will be one-of-one. Unique to you and only you.

I plan on dropping a small spring collection on our 5th (whaaat!?) anniversary of Thread and Table which is March 27th! So follow along if you’d like to see more sneak peaks.

These bags have been a long time coming… thanks to my husband for pushing this idea a very long time ago 😉

Tall Timber Days in Grand Rapids was a huge success!

This was the first pop up where we concentrated more on showcasing my embroidery pieces, and whaddya know, they were the best sellers!

We sold a majority of embroidered sweatshirts, our best seller being our Coffee Ghost Crewneck 👻

Close second was our Howdy Honey Crew and then our new, unreleased design, Just a Fall Girl Crew.

The whole week leading up to TTD I spent embroidering/sewing for hours. Something I need to do more throughout the weekS and not the week before (procrastination at its finest) 😅

It was totally worth it though and I’m super excited to bring more embroidery and hand sewn items into our pop ups.

You might be wondering who I’m referring to when I say, “we”. Although I run T&T by myself as a solo employee, my husband is truly so wonderful when it comes to brainstorming fresh ideas, my second eyes when I’m buying inventory (some of his picks became best sellers 😉), and helping me set up and tear down at shows… this last one is ultimately the worst and least fun task but he does it without complaining. I love you, 💕 and thank you for your constant encouragement even when I feel I’m failing (small business life, iykyk)

And for the friends and family who always text me about T&T and send love, YOU are part of that WE, too. 🫶🏼

Our next pop up is in September for Defeat of Jesse James Days in Northfield. I’d love to see you there 🤗
