We were in darkness, but God rescued us.
We were lost, but God brought us into His kingdom.
We were enslaved, but Jesus redeemed us.
We were guilty, but we are forgiven.

There are moments when we look at our lives and see only humble beginnings—small opportunities, quiet progress, unnoticed effort.

It can feel discouraging when growth seems slow and success seems distant.

God often starts His greatest works in small, unseen ways. A stable in Bethlehem. A shepherd boy in a field. A handful of loaves and fish.

What seems insignificant can become extraordinary in God’s hands. 🙌

There are seasons when we don’t even notice that our hearts have become hardened.
Disappointment can slowly close us off.
Unforgiveness can build walls within us.
Pride can make us resistant and unteachable.

Yet God does not command us to soften our hearts on our own.
He does not say, “Do better” or “Try harder.”
Instead, He promises, “I will replace what you cannot repair.”

A heart of stone pushes back against correction.
A heart of flesh listens and responds to His voice.

The beauty of this promise is that real change begins with God. Transformation is His work, not ours.
Our part is surrender. When we yield ourselves to Him, He does the delicate work of renewal within us.

Often we carry sin like a backpack—heavy, hidden, and always there.

Confession is the act of taking the backpack off and placing it where it belongs: at the foot of the cross.

And then we discover something astonishing:
We are not defined by what we’ve done.
We are defined by what Christ has done.

HAPPY MONDAY 😉

Kindness and forgiveness flow from remembering how deeply we are loved and forgiven by God.

When we choose compassion over resentment, we reflect Christ’s grace to the world. Even small acts of mercy can become powerful expressions of His love.

Forgiveness Starts With a Choice

In Luke 17:4, Jesus doesn’t wait for our emotions to catch up. He doesn’t say, “When it feels better.” He simply says, forgive. That tells us forgiveness is an act of obedience before it ever becomes a feeling.

Our emotions may demand space, protection, or payback—and those reactions are human. But they don’t have the final say. Forgiveness is the intentional choice to release someone from the debt we think they owe us, even while the hurt still lingers.

Jesus knows that if we wait to feel forgiving, we may never forgive at all. So He calls us to choose it first. As that choice is repeated, healing begins. Peace may come slowly, but it does come.

Forgiveness doesn’t excuse wrongs or erase consequences. It simply refuses to let bitterness take control. When we choose forgiveness, we step into the same mercy God shows us every single day.

WARNING ‼️‼️‼️

When we refuse to forgive, we are holding on to a poison that hurts us more than the other person. Jesus warns that an unforgiving heart blocks the flow of grace, hindering our prayers and stopping us from experiencing the freedom of God's forgiveness for our own failings.
