Safety is the most important when creating sensory bins.
🤎Small items can be choking hazards, they are recommended for ages 3 and up.
🤎Oliver has been playing with sensory bins since he was 10 months old, we started with taste safe ones and worked our way up to different materials.
🤎 Stay close and set expectations “ this stays in the bin, not for our mouths, if we put it in our mouths, we are all done with the bin” even on the first try at putting something in their mouths, explain we don’t put it in our mouths and the bin is done for now. You can try again in 15-20 minutes
🤎 The goal is for your child to play on their own, but the safest way is to stay close by and supervise!
