The hardest part of having a small business🫣

Selling everything you've made.

"If it doesn't sell this weekend I'm allowed to keep it"
is always a guaranteed sale😅

Actually, in this case it was the very first sale of the weekend. I loved every second of it! It was a display of a loving friendship and that's what life is really about☀️

It was hard to let go of it but she will wear it and be reminded of that day, that moment and their ever growing friendship✨️

And anyways, this means I can order more stones I don't want to let go off. The glitter goblin inside of me shall have more stones🤭

Dare you pick it up?✨️

The flowers are in bloom and you are enjoying every ray of sunshine cast through the trees in the open gras meadow🌸
All of a sudden you see something sparkling between the blades of grass. You stand up to look closer, what could it be? With every step you hear it more clearly, a soft humming in the wind. It is drawing you in.

And then you see it, the sun is making the crystals dance, drawing you in even closer.
It is a crown. A beautifull crown that looks to have been made just for this meadow🌱

Are you ready to become the queen of this meadow? Or is it a carefully placed trap by the fairies?✨️

Make it me✨️

Yesterday I showed you a very extreme and typical AI photo of one of my new headpiece designs. I mean that acorn was just ridiculous😅
But it got people talking, and that was the goal! (Mostly via text & DM, the taboo is real!)

The AI discussion isn't black & white, it's mostly grey.

So here's how I trained the AI I use to create backgrounds that are actually acceptable✨️
Use real photo's and say what you like about them. Always give several angles of your product for reference. And very clearly state 'do not change a thing of this piece'.
And when you post, include the real photo's, yes they may not be perfect but it will prove - this is real👏🏻

I'd like to see more people use AI to their benefit. Not to create art! But to lighten the load. And without being afraid of the retaliation that is solely aimed at the horror that is AI 'art'.

Because if there is one thing we can all agree on - it's 'artist' that sell AI 'art' amongst the real ones that are the problem!

🍁The forbidden fruit of AI🍂

The debate amongst artist is still burning fierce. When is the use of AI ok?
Some say never, some say to write text, some don't even have products without it.

But what about me? Where do I stand?

The first photo you see is AI, yes. And I will use AI more frequently from now on. Here is why:

It's a beautifull day today and I really wanted to make some amazing photo's of the new headpieces I've made.
So I've been spending hours hoping the energy would find me so I could get up and go to the woods.

But unfortunately, as it often does... it never came...
And even the sloppy photo's I made in our backyard are too terrible to even try to make into something beautiful, again... with what energy?

I am not a photographer, I am not skilled in the arts of photoshop. I like to make pieces of jewellery filled with magic and ofcourse tons of sparkle✨️

Yes yes yes.... I'm feeding my art into an AI model. But isn't Meta using everything I post anyway?

I want photo's that reflect the magic I feel when making these pieces, and if AI helps me to achieve that, well, that is a win for me. It's energy saved to make more beautifull things☀️

So what do you think? Am I now an untrustworthy person out to deceive you all? Or am I simply a jewellery maker trying to navigate a world while being sick?

Honestly, I can't see any difference between the AI and the sloppy backyard photo. Can you?

The wedding season is starting✨️

Last year I had the honour to work with on this stunning piece. She gave this new available design 'Delpheria' after her two favorite flowers. Can you guess which ones?🪻

I am always overjoyed to recieve the wedding photos, not just to see my work but there is something magical about being a part of your special day✨️
I work closely with all my bridal clients and to see months of planning and hard work come together is just... magical!

Did you miss me?☀️

Spring is finally here so it's time to get out of hibernation mode and get back to work!
My health is improving after much hard work and dedication so we are looking forward to seeing you all in real life again✨️

And with that the 2025 season comes to an end✨️
I want to thank anyone and everyone who made this year a little better🖤
We had amazing highs and devastating lows, but you always showed up!

I'd like to take this moment to not only look back, but also look ahead. And there is news. I am cutting back on markets. Most of you already knew this so let's make it official. We have signed up for just 3 fantasy markets in 2026.

I have to prioritise my health, and the new lifestyle it demands, with my autoimmune disease. So I hope to be accepted and see you at , & in 2026✨️

Welcome to the 'Ber' months🍂🕸🍁🪾

Something is brewing here and it isn't just coffee✨️
Most of you know I am the biggest fan of everything Autumn🤎
Our house is filled with warm tones, oranges, browns, mossy greens, warm woods and soft cosy fabrics.

But did you also know my background is actually in home decor, interior styling and design? Well I wouldn't blame you if you didn't. Even I forget sometimes while I'm making a new batch of earrings🤭

So after some consideration this past month of much needed respite. I decided;
🍂I'm dropping out🍁

Over time, more and more jewellery will disappear and be replaced with home decorations. I want to create the things that will turn your house into a home🤎

Of course, I could never part with jewellery entirely. But be on the lookout if you are, like me, enchanted with creating an ever lasting Autumn vibe all year round✨️
