All parents mark time with milestones. First tooth, first steps, first day of kindergarten. We don’t have Lincoln with us, but we mark certain milestones regardless.

This is the year he would be starting kindergarten. I am not sure if we will continue the projects every year, but I couldn’t let this specific milestone pass without doing something.
