It’s the weekend! I have been very inspired by my cousin Eseta Seruilumi who is spending the weekend here with me. She has come a long way from when we met at family functions in Fiji to meeting here in the UK through get together with other family members. She is also my beta reader for all my questions on Fijian interpretation of my books. Which is a godsend when I don’t have anyone on speed dial. She is also an entrepreneur and also runs an online digital business. I was watching her live today and felt inspired to write a little post about her. Often life goes by so quick. But am glad we get this weekend ! We had to get to the theatre early for my daughter’s show. Eseta had a meeting as well for her online digital business which is quite convenient! Signing off from the theatre! If you are wondering yes Eseta is sat cross legged on the floor! She found it more comfortable!

I was up and early yesterday, we had a lot on as a family, my exams for my day job Leeds, was at midday, then I had my daughters opening night in Doncaster for her show at the CAST. My daughter has always been my top cheer leader on all that I do. We planned the day to perfection, she went to breakfast club and I and to drive up to Leeds to beat the morning traffic, that didn’t happen I was stuck on the road for nearly 2 hours. But disaster averted we arrived two hours early and Leeds didn’t disappoint. I went into Greg’s for a hot drink and was full with hustle of retired men and women, a gentleman gave me a table and chair to sit on. What a nice thing to do for a stranger. Leeds did not disappoint and the exams went well. I wanted to include you in my going ons. Also found a hairdresser who braids hair, it’s always hard to find a good one. Will let you know if I go this one I found. Took a break from writing and editing today.

The last two weeks has been filled with editing my children’s books. I have about four on the go. It’s such an inspiring work and I always said if I could do this full time I would. I started this journey in 2021 as a tester when I got made redundant from my job at the time. I have since had other jobs and even graduated from university in 2023 but the children’s books are still pulling me to write them. Perfect them, or not so much perfect but make it presentable. I released some in 2021 which I am re- releasing in the upcoming months and we have a Shopify shop set up link in bio. Thanks for joining and staying me on this journey. This week I want to re-introduce myself to you all.

We will be doing a live this week on our new book sample which we have just received in the post last week. And it doesn’t stop there we also have a Fijian i-Taukei language version coming out as well. We are Fijian i-Taukei living and working in the UK. Thank you for the follow and we hope to bring you on our journey to publishing books for our small diaspora in the UK and beyond.
