Today and every day we remember and honor the 1.5 million Armenians who were killed by the Ottoman Empire. Reflecting on the Armenian Genocide, we’re confronted not only with the tragic loss of 1.5 million Armenian lives but also the erosion of land, culture, history, and sacred spaces endured by the Armenian people. 109 years since this atrocity unfolded, the threat to our existence persists, as denial of truth perpetuates suffering.

At Icon Lifestyle, we stand in solidarity with the Armenian community, committed to amplifying their voices and preserving their rich heritage. Let us remember the words of William Saroyan, an Armenian novelist, who said, “I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia. See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.”
